2024 Magdalena House Gala Committee
Responsibilites
To provide motivational support towards the success of the Magdalena House Gala. This event is impossible without each member of the committee and we are indebted to all your time and care you put into this event. You help set the message, tone and strategy for maximum participation from the families, corporations, vendors, etc.
Time Committment
March 2024 - September 2024
How You Help
Event Planning:
- Attend monthly committee meetings at University Methodist Church
- Lead and/or serve on a sub-committee of your choice
- Work with MH Development Staff, Committee Chairs, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers
- Be available for set-up at the venue the day before the Gala (Friday, September 27, 2024)
- Be available for the set-up and breakdown the day of the Gala (Saturday, September 28, 2024)
Fundraising:
- Committee to procure the following:
- Live auction items (ideally valued at $5,000 or above)
- Raffle items (ideally valued at $1,000 or above)
- Silent auction items require no minimum value
- Sell at least 5 individual tickets to your community
- Procure one sponsorship
