How to Apply

Interested mothers are encouraged to contact Magdalena House directly at 210-561-0505.  We only interview mothers when we anticipate we will have an available room, and we do not keep a waiting list.

If we do have availability, we will ask you to complete an initial phone interview. During this interview you will have the chance to ask questions about the program. If you meet initial criteria, you will be invited to a formal interview with the Magdalena House Intake Team. You will be asked to bring a completed application and required documents, and you may be asked to disclose detailed personal information. Positive identification and a drug and TB test are required.

The application process (from first phone call to final admittance) can take as long as two weeks.
